I used to write a monthly article in a wonderful local magazine called My Out & About, Silicon Valley & the Coast. I was their Farmer in the Field and would write about what was in season each month. I would also include recipes with my articles. Be it my own recipes or recipes I found on the internet that sounded like something I would like to create in my own kitchen. I found this article on Kale written for the January 2011 issue. Nine years later kales popularity hasn't waivered but continues to grow stronger in our search for a healthier lifestyle. Kale has also become one of our most valuable crops.
